About CardVault

CardVault is made by one parent for a kid who loves cards, and for every family like that.

Who makes it

CardVault is made by truck8.ai in Oudenbosch in the Netherlands. One parent, one kid who loves cards, and a shoebox that needed sorting. It is a one-person business: no investor, no growth target, and the person you write to when something is wrong is the person who built it.

Why it exists

It began as an app for one family: a way to know which cards were already in the house before another pack was opened, and to watch a set fill up. That is still the first thing it has to do well. Everything since — eleven languages, the Japanese and Chinese catalogues, the offline pack — was built so it could grow without turning into something a child should not be handed.

Get in touch

Write about anything: a card the scanner keeps getting wrong, a sentence that reads oddly in your language, a feature your family misses, or a question about the data. It is one person reading, so an answer takes a day or two.
