The camera, an unsure scan, a wrong price, a Play purchase that does not show: the answers, and a person to write to.
Questions and answers
The camera does not start
The browser asks once for permission to use the camera and remembers the answer. In Chrome on Android, tap the icon to the left of the address bar, then Permissions → Camera → Allow, and reload the page. If the camera is not listed there, check Android Settings → Apps → Chrome → Permissions → Camera.
The camera also needs a secure connection, so the address has to start with https. Another app or another tab holding the camera open will block it too — close them and try again.
The scanner is not sure which card it is
Lay the card flat on a plain surface in even light and keep the whole card inside the outline; a card held in the hand bends just enough to change the picture. Glare on a holo is the usual culprit — tilt the phone rather than the card.
The number in the bottom corner settles most of the rest, so a photo where that corner is sharp is worth more than a bright one. When the app still cannot tell, it asks for AI help by itself: up to ten times a day on Free, without a limit on Family Plus. If it picked the wrong print, tap the right one and the correction is remembered for next time.
A price looks wrong
Prices come from a public database: the Cardmarket trend price in euros and the TCGplayer market price in dollars, both through TCGdex, refreshed every night. Which of the two the app shows is a setting.
They are estimates of what a card has been selling for, not an offer and not a valuation. Condition, a different print or a local market can put the real price far from them.
A Google Play purchase does not show up
Purchases made in the Play Store reach the app through RevenueCat, which can take a minute. Signing out and back in usually makes the plan appear.
If it still does not, write to us from the address on the account and say when you bought it and which plan; we put it right by hand. A refund, if you would rather have that, is handled by Google.
How do I move a collection to another account or another phone?
Settings → Your data. “Backup” writes one file with everything of this household — profiles, cards, wants, themed sets, binders, decks, badges and the history — and “Restore” reads it back into another account.
For a spreadsheet or another app, the CSV export of the collection and of the wish list sits next to it, and CSV can be imported again. None of this costs anything.
How do I delete the account?
Settings → Account → Delete account, then type the account’s email address and the password. Everything goes at once, the scan photos included. The delete-account page explains it step by step, and says what to do if you cannot sign in any more.
Still stuck?
Write to us. It is one person reading the mail, in English, German or Dutch, so an answer takes a day or two — but it is a person, and the app is theirs.
